HOW TO PRINT CUSTOMER LABELS
USING MAIL MERGE

1. Go to Accounts Receivable → Maintenance → Customer → Print Customer List
2. Leave everything as is on the screen, and right-click on the Proceed button and select the
option for Excel.
3. The system will prompt you with the following message:
Would you like to open the Excel report now?
4. Click <Yes>.
5. The excel file will open up on your screen. Click the Office Button → Save As → Excel
Workbook.
6. Save the Excel Workbook to your desktop.
7. Open Microsoft Word. Go to Mailings at the top, then Click Start Mail Merge, and then
Labels.
8. Select the type of label that you are going to be printing on. Most clients use the Avery
US Letter - Product # 5160 label. You can use whichever you prefer.
9. Click Select Recipients at the top of the screen, and then Use Existing List.
10. Find the Excel that you saved on your desktop, and click Open. A box that looks similar
to the following will appear. Click OK.
11. Select Edit Recipient List at the top if you would like to unselect certain customer labels
from printing. Simply uncheck the checkbox next to the customer's name to unselect the
customer.
12. Click the option for Address Block at the top, and then select the Match Fields option.
13. Fields should be matched as follows:
14. Then select Remember this matching for this set of data sources on this computer, and
click OK. Also click OK on the Insert Address Block Screen.
15. Click the Update Labels option at the top of the screen.
16. Then click the Finish & Merge option, and Edit Individual Documents.
17. Select the option for ALL and then click OK.
18. Make any necessary corrections.
19. When you are ready to print your document, make sure you have the labels loaded into
your printer first. Then, go to the Office Button → Print → Print
20. Select your printer from the Printer Dialog box and click OK
